Women Empowerment
We at Prawati feel that every woman should feel free and independent and that no shackles of patriarchy or oppression should confine her. That is why Project Prawati is working with women from the marganalised section of the society and giving the women the power to achieve their dreams, by training them and employing them. Each ERickshaw provides direct employment to 5 women and indirectly to the women working on the farms from where our raw material is sourced.
Local Farmers
The farmer or as we say Kissan, are the most important people in our lives, because of them we have fresh food everyday on our tables. At Project Prawati we directly source our products from them, giving preference to women farmers. The idea is to reduce the farm to plate cycle by bringing the produce directly to the consumers.
Carbon Footprint
The whole world is moving towards a greener and healthier future, with that so is Prawati. We at Project Prawati are reducing our carbon footprint by using E- Rickshaws, these are entirely battery operated and use no petrol or diesel, hence protecting the environment. The farm produce is hand washed, cleaned and dried without the use of any mechanized equipment. Customers are encouraged to bring their own containers/bags to carry the products, thus eliminating the need for waste generation through packaging. Even when customers choose to buy bottles or carry bags from us, we provide reusable bags and glass bottles.
